Local concert for our work

Support Environment California and listen to great music. Come to The Freight and Salvage Coffeehouse, 1111 Addison Street, Berkeley, on Thursday, October 30th at 8:00 pm. The talented Vanessa Lowe will be singing her latest tunes, along with opening act, Alexis Harte. Tickets are $18.50 in advance, $19.50 at the door (kids under 18 are half price). Everyone will receive a free copy of Vanessa’s newest CD, "eep."

Saving national forests

Thanks to our federation’s work, more than 1.5 million citizens nationwide called on the Clinton administration to protect pristine areas in our national forests, resulting in the Roadless Rule. When the Bush administration attempted to overturn the rule, we worked with governors in seven states to petition to protect their forests.
